Residential Burglary Suspects from Vacaville Arrested Monday, Sept. 16 After Short Chase

Dixon Police officers responded to a report of a residential burglary in progress in the 800 block of North Almond Street on Monday, September 16, 2013 at about 12:37 pm The police officers spotted the two responsible suspects fleeing the scene on foot.

After a short foot pursuit both suspects were taken into custody without incident at Northwest Park. The suspects - Jonathan Dew (19) Christopher Romiski (18) both  Vacaville residents  - were booked into the Solano County Jail on numerous charges including Burglary, Conspiracy, Evading/Resisting Arrest and Prowling.

The Dixon Police Department encourages the public to assist us with arrests such as this by reporting any suspicious activity. Anyone with additional information is requested to contact the Dixon Police Department at 707-678-7070.

Two Armed Robberies in Dixon

Two armed robberies occurred in Dixon on Saturday night February 2. The first was reported at 7:22 pm and occurred near the Gazebo in Northwest Park.
