DIXON, CA (MPG) - SI Dixon donated $500 to Curtis Stocking for Wreath Project, Remember a Vet.net.

Each December, holiday boughs are placed on all the gravesites at this local veterans’ cemetery in honor of our veterans resting there. The tradition began in 2006 when the cemetery opened, and it is one of the few in the country to have 100% coverage each year. Funds are collected year-round, and boughs are purchased in advance; the public is invited to help place the boughs.

Volunteers are welcome at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Saturday, December 16, to assist with placements starting at 7:30 a.m.
