DIXON, CA (MPG) - Horseplay’s annual fundraiser takes place on Monday, April 29, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Bud’s Pub & Grill, 100 S. First Street in Dixon.

This is Horseplay’s major fundraising event of the year, featuring a full dinner (choice of prime rib, chicken, pasta, tri tip, salmon, chicken strips with fries) with salad, roasted potatoes, bread, and a non-alcoholic beverage.  There will be a variety of raffle prizes, including gift baskets, gift certificates and many other items.  Dinners are also available to take out.

Funds raised will help support the care of Horseplay’s wonderful therapy horses. Horseplay is a volunteer based, non-profit organization that provides special-needs children and adult riders who reside in Solano, Napa, and Yolo counties an opportunity to improve their quality of life by interacting physically, intellectually, and emotionally while riding horses in controlled, therapeutic sessions. The costs exceed what is charged to the rider for the session.  The rest of the costs are raised with donations and fundraising efforts.  Horseplay needs your support to keep it financially strong.

Tickets are $45 per person (does not include tip.)  For those who are unable to attend but want to support this fundraising effort, checks can be sent to Horseplay Therapeutic Riding Center, P.O. Box 506, Vacaville, CA 95696.

Tickets are also available at the Horseplay barn located at Whispering Winds Ranch in Dixon or by calling Kathy Kliewer at (916) 767-5078.
