DIXON, CA (MPG) - “147 Years of Making Memories” will be celebrated at this year’s ‘Unforgettable’ Dixon May Fair and it’s time to sign up to participate in the annual competitions at the Fair, May 9-12. The Fair is looking for your crafting, knitting, baking, and flower arrangements, along with all the traditional quilts, preserves, art and more. Details for hundreds of classes are outlined in the 2024 Exhibitor Guidebook for all the ways the community can enter their projects.

For 147 years, the Dixon May Fair has been celebrating the community by showcasing the skills and talents of the region. Your projects, produce, pigs and pies are all showcased in the fun of the annual Fair.

Anyone who resides in the State of California can enter their homegrown and homemade exhibits in most categories of the Dixon May Fair’s competition, which might earn them a prized blue ribbon or a little cash. (Market animals are restricted to Solano County.)

Entering the fair is easy and can be done online at www.dixonmayfair.com. The Guidebook can be viewed online, and entry forms downloaded at www.dixonmayfair.com. (Click on Fair Information, then Entries.) Complete and sign your entry form and return it to the Fair office with any fees due. While most entry forms are due April 12, the actual exhibits are not due until closer to the Fair as outlined in the Guidebook.

Dixon May Fair starts Thursday May 9 and continues through Sunday May 12 with Special Day discounts for children and seniors. For information on how to participate, visit DixonMayFair.com and follow their Facebook page for up-to-date information.
