Girls on the Rise in Law Careers

DIXON, CA (MPG) - The Solano Superior Court, Solano County Bar Association and the Solano Commission for Women and Girls is offering a special event for young women ages 15 to 25 interested in the legal field to learn more.

“Dixon women are especially encouraged as we have had little interest, but I think it’s because they are not hearing about it,” said Pat Nicodemus of the Solano Commission for Women and Girls who recently won the Soroptimist Ruby Award. That award honors non-Soroptimist women for making extraordinary efforts on behalf of other women.

“Girls on the Rise: Find Your Place in the Legal Field” will be held on Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Solano County Event Center, 601 Texas Street, in downtown Fairfield. and will be an exciting in-person event where we will delve into the dynamic world of law. It includes lunch.

This event offers a unique opportunity for young women to connect with influential women leaders, gain valuable insights into the legal field, experience a courtroom tour, and engage in thought-provoking discussions. Whether a high school student, recent graduate, or simply interested in exploring various career paths in the legal field, this forum is tailored to meet one’s various needs.
