Dixon Sewer Referenda Headed for November Ballot

The two referenda on the Dixon Sewer controversy have succeeded in gathering more than the required number of valid signatures of registered Dixon voters, according to a preliminary review by the petitioners - the Dixon Chapter of the Solano County Taxpayers Association (DC-SCTA). As of 5 pm Sunday May 18, 2014, the group had collected over 1,400 and verified that over 1,100 were verified as being registered. The group compared the signatures with a list from the Solano County Registrar of Voters.

Dixon Taxpayers Group will Challenge Sewer Hike with Two Ballot Measures

The Dixon Chapter of the Solano County Taxpayers Association has voted to sponsor two ballot measures to stop a doubling of sewer rates and to roll back the rates to those in effect prior to 2006.
