The 28th Annual Dixon Lamb Festival will be held on October 4 & 5, 2014 - the first weekend in October. The event celebrates Dixon's agricultural heritage and Dixon's history. Admission is only $3 for adults. Children 12 and under admitted free. This year there will be a carnival - additional cost - all day wrist bands will be sold. Events include: Music all day Lots of great food - featuring lamb Lamb BBQ Contest Lamb Cooking Demonstrations Sheep Dog Trials Sheep Shearing Sheep Shearing contest Sheep-to-Shawl competition Spinning competition Wool processing demonstrations Wool Show competition Sheep Show Lots of vendors and more fun
