Two Arrested on Drug Related Charges during Traffic Stop

DIXON, CA (MPG) - On Saturday evening, March 13, 2021, Dixon Police Officers were patrolling the streets when they stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of Calmace Drive. They contacted the driver, Nicholas Sinkas (37), of Dixon, and passenger, Jennifer Trujillo (36), of Davis.

Trujillo had a misdemeanor warrant for her arrest out of Yolo County. Sinkas was found to be on probation. After Trujillo and Sinkas were detained, a search was conducted, and they were both arrested and later transported to the Solano County Jail.

Trujillo's charges consisted of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and the warrant out of Yolo County. Sinkas' charges consisted of Probation Violation, Felon in Possession of Firearms, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, Possession of Marijuana for Sale, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving without a License.
