DIXON, CA (MPG) – Community Medical Centers, known by some as Dixon Family Practice, is pleased to announce the recent addition of Kayla Medina, a Nurse Practitioner, to the organization’s health center in downtown Dixon, bolstering the services delivered to the community members who rely on high-quality health care. More additions to the Dixon staff are planned for summer 2022.

“Our Dixon health center has been part of our organization since the 1980s, when we were known as the Agricultural Workers Health Project,” said CMC Chief Executive Officer Christine Noguera. “We deeply value the important role we play in the Dixon community, and we are looking forward to many more years providing that same level of care to our patients.”

Medina has a Master’s Degree in Science from UC Davis, has more than seven years in the medical field and more than three years as a Nurse Practitioner.

“I’m looking forward to planting roots at CMC Dixon and serving the patient population I come from and represent,” said Medina, who speaks Spanish. “Coming from a small farm town myself, I recognize the importance of providing preventive and chronic care to those who help build and contribute to the community.”

CMC anticipates adding more new faces in the coming months. Dixon’s staff already includes a Registered Dietitian, Substance Use Disorder Counselor, Case Manager, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program counselor.
