Last week our community was made aware of a racially offensive social media post including students and staff at John Knight Middle School. In the days since, our School Resource Officer has worked closely with Dixon Unified School District to provide support to students and staff. We must all work together through open dialogue and education to build understanding and respect in our community. The City will continue to provide support to Dixon Unified. Together, we are committed to providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for all students and staff.
