DIXON, CA (MPG) - Women are invited to hear guest presenter Lois Cross offered at the next Dixon Chamber of Commerce ‘Women in Business Night’ on Thursday, May 23, 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Cross, MSN, is the prior Sutter Health Director of Clinical Operations and current Senior District Representative for Congressman Garamendi. She is also current Chair of the Travis Regional Armed Forces Committee which is the local community organization that supports men, women, and missions of Travis Air Force Base. Its membership is composed of local business and civic leaders, including elected officials throughout Solano County, State, and Federal government. The committee is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors.

The meet up will be held at The Creative Space, 160 West A Street in downtown Dixon, and admission is $10 that can be paid on Eventbrite.com.

“It will be a fun evening as we sip, mingle, and get inspired,” posted Chamber CEO Shauna Manina on social media.

“We want to help gather and inspire local women business owners, leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs,” said Robin Tully of the Chamber of Commerce Business Education and Resource Committee. “I don't think many of us realize just how many local businesses are owned or ran by women. I'm confident we will have a diverse, impressive, and vibrant group of women there to meet one another, share ideas and help each other.”
