DIXON, CA (MPG) - Who doesn’t love dogs? There is a great show out at the May Fair this weekend that promises to be a sure hit with children and adults alike because it involves dogs—not purebreds, but rescue dogs!

Former professional snowboarder J.D. Platt has always loved being in front of audiences and has had a lifelong passion for animals. He has expertly combined these two interests into one amazing experience: The K9 Kings Flying Dog Show.

This entertainment extravaganza features up to nine different breeds of adorable dogs flipping, spinning, and leaping their way into their audience’s hearts. Guests will marvel at these furry performers as they sail through the air and snatch flying discs out of the air while demonstrating breathtaking acrobatic skill.

The outdoor performances which are about every two hours throughout the May Fair last about 20 to 30 minutes each and will feature multiple acrobatic frisbee dog routines. The dogs from the largest to the smallest will flip, spin, and jump. They seem to love performing for people.

J.D. will educate you, provide a great deal of crowd participation and will make you laugh. They are shows that you won’t want to miss.

During the performance, J.D. will talk about the incredible and talented rescue dogs that have come into his life. He demonstrates the trainability and hard work that has gone into his training to bring out the natural and instinctual abilities of dogs that need a job.

His stories of his rescue dogs are inspirational and are a great way of encouraging people to adopt, rescue, or foster dogs in need of homes. These working dogs that have become part of the K9 Kings will amaze with their natural working abilities and sweetness shown after every performance.

After the show, fans of all ages can venture over to the large “meet, greet, and pet area” to get up close and personal with these friendly, four-legged athletes. All the dogs have been socialized, are friendly, and are great with children, according to the website, K9kings.com.

This is an experience for all ages, so check your Fair schedule for showtimes and bring the whole family over to the Kids Zone to see J.D. and his K9 Kings.
