DIXON, CA (MPG) – Michael Furlong’s Tribute to Tom Petty will be Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Lebar Garden Stage at tonight’s start of the Dixon May Fair.

Michael Furlong is a lead vocalist, lead guitar player, international recording artist and songwriter who is the centerpiece in Michael Furlong’s Tribute to Tom Petty. His show is based out of Reno, Nevada, where he has performed in virtually every major casino in the greater Reno-Tahoe, Nevada area.

The look, sound, stage persona and uncanny resemblance to Tom Petty are what makes his show a stand out in the crowded world of countless tribute bands today. During his performing career he has appeared coast to coast in the US and Canada, from Vancouver, BC, to Halifax Nova Scotia, Seattle, Washington, to Boston, Massachusetts, San Diego, to Orlando, Florida, Hawaii, Guam, Japan and countless venues in between.

Demand for his show in Las Vegas found him performing at the Bellagio, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Treasure Island, Hard Rock Hotel, Palace Station, Fremont Street Experience, Arizona Charlie’s, Boulder Station, Treasure Island and The Stardust.
