Gone Fishin’ Open House
Boating and fishing are the reason Gone Fishin’ Marine has thrived for 20 years in Dixon and they are ready to celebrate. On Saturday, June 8, there will be food, drinks, and fun with storewide promos, an exclusive parts and accessories sale, and a raffle and a limited-edition T-shirt giveaway. The address is 1880 North Lincoln Street.
DDBA Meeting
Merchants and supportive citizens for the Downtown Dixon Business Association are invited to the June meeting on Thursday, June 6, at 8:30 a.m. at Almond Tree Mortgage, 1115 Stratford Avenue. Concert in the Plaza
Thursday, June 6, is also the date for the next Chamber Concert in the Plaza. The band will be Normal Paranormal/Live Wire. Bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets, snacks, and enjoy a wide variety of music in a safe and family-friendly atmosphere. VIP Mexican Cuisine will be selling some of the best Mexican food.

Pardi Plaza Concerts
The Concerts in the Plaza 2024 spring and summer season has started, and the next one will feature the band, Normal Paranormal/Live Wire, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 6. The concerts happen every first and third Thursday of the month at the Pardi Plaza, on the corner of First and A streets. Shredding Event
On Saturday June 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be a shredding opportunity at Atkinson Self Storage, 1800 North First Street. Legal boxes of paper and or binders are $10 per box. Cash or card payments are accepted. For more information, call (707) 693-9200.
