DIXON, CA (MPG) - There is an upcoming and semi-new business here in Dixon and it’s a wedding venue! Bella Vista Farms is a small wedding venue on the rise here in our local town of Dixon.

Bella Vista Farms is located just outside of town on the countryside of Rio Dixon Road and is the perfect spot to hold your events.

They keep the property beautifully maintained and they are surrounded by flower fields, almond orchards and beautiful alfalfa fields. They were established in 2019 by Angelina Guzman and the Guzman family.

Angelina states that before all of this progress, they had a large open lawn and people were asking for that to be rented out. After a while, it was suggested to be a wedding and event venue. They prioritize their service and the way they treat their clients and are always busy with new projects to better meet the clients’ standards.

They hold open houses and scheduled tours for anybody looking for an event venue. They also have a website where they have lots of suggested catering and entertainment. They have lots of wedding packages to choose from and there is a bridal suite and groom’s room. They are set on continuing to hold more and more events and to also keep growing their business. Believe it or not, they have also had clients from out of state and even from other countries!

Now speaking about the recommended activities, they work with other local businesses and they offer catering, florist shops, photography, decor, wedding planners, rentals, private security, event staffing and bartending, desert shops and entertainment. It is also pet friendly with a large lawn and lots of space to get their energy out. 

There is also a house right next to the venue for an Airbnb in case anybody doesn’t want to deal with driving home that late.

The original story for the name Bella Vista is quite interesting. One day, one of the main founders was coming back home after a long day of working on the venue, and he said in Spanish, “I know what this will be called. Bella Vista because it translates from Spanish to pretty view.”

Toward the end of the building stages, the building was delayed around eight months due to the contractors not being able to meet the time requirements.

Bella Vista is not just a wedding venue either, they hold birthdays, quinceaneras, and all kinds of other events. They have a kitchen room with a microwave, fridge, sink, and storage for drinks, or utensils. They have several social media accounts where they post pictures of fliers, and event setups just to keep the public updated with their venue.

The photography situation is also beautiful because they have lots of different orchards and fields nearby which can satisfy any photography expectations. Another thing is that they have a small walkway surrounded by lavender in case you want some pictures walking through the beautiful lavender patch.
