SCOE Earns Four National Communication Awards

Solano County Office of Education’s four submissions to National School Public Relations Association's Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards and Golden Achievement Award programs have been met with high praise. Competing against more than 2,200 entries in the 2024 National School Communication Awards programs, Solano County Office of Education achieved significant recognition for its work.
Solano County Superintendent of Schools Lisette Estrella-Henderson commented, “We are thrilled to be recognized for our community engagement and digital communication efforts. Our educators continuously aim to enhance student outcomes by growing a supportive network that extends beyond the classroom, and we know when communities are actively involved, students benefit from enriched learning experiences and increased access to resources and opportunities.”
National School Public Relations Association’s Golden Achievement Awards celebrate outstanding, strategic work in all aspects of school public relations, communication, marketing, and community engagement. SCOE received national recognition for its vibrant “Dreams, Gratitudes & Wishes” community art showcase that traveled to various events and locations promoting connections between community members and a collective sense of belonging.
Solano County Office of Education also received three awards in the National School Public Relations Association’s Publications and Digital Media Excellence program. The top award in each category is the Award of Excellence, followed by Awards of Merit and Honorable Mentions. SCOE earned an Award of Excellence in the Magazine category for the latest edition of the Solano County Office of Education Spotlight magazine. An Award of Excellence was earned in the Photo category for "Fostering Connection: A Tribute to Paraeducators", and an Award of Merit was received for the photo submission, "Making Magic Happen."
In the National School Public Relations Association’s recognition program, experienced, award-winning professionals serve as judges, evaluating entries for overall excellence and quality. Solano County Office of Education is honored to receive these accolades from colleagues in the field and looks forward to furthering communication and engagement within the Solano community.
