DIXON, CA (MPG) - The Solano County Home & Garden Show is back on Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 22.

That means the Dixon Fairgrounds at 655 S First St. will be transformed for home and garden enthusiasts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days and this family-friendly event will offer something for everyone.

The home and garden show has been a tradition since 2015.

This year’s Home and Garden Show features a special guest appearance by Ahmad Hassan, who is the original host of HGTV’s “Yard Crashers.” Hassan will share his expert knowledge in a special "Landscaping 101" session. This is a rare chance to gain insights from a true industry professional who knows how to turn any yard into an outdoor paradise.

In addition, discover the latest products and services from top home-improvement professionals and get hands-on advice to tackle your next project. Stroll through and show with unique, handcrafted items that will add a special touch to your home. Vendors offer a wide range of products and services on upgrades, repairs for heating and air, solar, kitchen and bathroom, doors and windows, screen, garage flooring, alarms, electrical and more.

On Sept. 21, groove to the sounds of Johnny and the Be Goods Band, providing high-energy music throughout the day. Enjoy a perfect mix of tunes while you explore the show.

Bring the whole family and let the little ones enjoy the Kids Korner, where children can engage in fun activities while you gather ideas and inspiration for your home and garden projects.

There will also be arts and crafts vendors, Bingo scavenger hunt and food trucks.

General admission is $8 and $5 for seniors and military. Admission is free for children 12 and under. Free parking is across the street.

The Dixon Fairgrounds is at 655 South First St.
