UPDATE: Rio Vista Bridge 55-Hour Closure Postponed

RIO VISTA, CA (MPG) - Caltrans is advising motorists a scheduled closure of the Rio Vista Bridge (Helen Madere Memorial Bridge) on State Route 12 (SR-12) just east of the City of Rio Vista has been postponed and rescheduled due to a bad weather forecast.
All work on road construction projects will be suspended on weekends and holidays. Schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, equipment or material availability, or other unexpected events.

9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15 to 4 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18

Caltrans District 3 is responsible for maintaining and operating 4,385 lane miles in 11 Sacramento Valley and Northern Sierra counties. Caltrans reminds motorists to “Be Work Zone Alert” and slow in construction zones for the safety of travelers and crews performing these improvements.
