Little League Pulled Pork Dinner
Dixon Little League will host a drive-thru pulled pork dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. Nov. 16 at The Creative Space, 160 W A St. A plate of food costs $25 and will have smoked pulled pork, Texas chuckwagon beans, mac and cheese, southern corn souffle and dinner rolls. Tickets are limited, so get yours today.

Olive Oil Tasting
The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, one of three federally recognized Wintun Native American Tribes, will host a special olive oil tasting event at Dixon Library, 230 N. First St., from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 15. Products from Capa Valley’s Seka Hills Olive Mill & Tasting Room will be featured. Registration is required to attend and is only for those 15 and older.

Scentsy Bingo
Solano Kitten Network, a nonprofit volunteer-based rescue group, will host a bingo night to support the kitties. The event will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 17 at American Legion Hall, 1305 N. First St. Dinner and nonalcoholic beverages will be included, as well as a $30 buy-in for 25 games; additional games can be purchased for $1 per game or a pack for $10. Attendees are encouraged to bring a bag of cat food for extra cards and extra cash for the dessert auction and raffles.

Soroptimist of Dixon Bunco Fundraiser
Soroptimist International of Dixon will host a Bunco fundraiser at Olde Vets Hall, 231 N. First St. Starting at 11 a.m. on Nov. 17, the fundraiser will include a no-host bar and lunch for $30 per person. All proceeds will benefit the lives of women and girls in the community.

Teen Open Mic Night
Dixon Library, 230 N. First St., will host a Teen Open Mic Night from 4 to 5 p.m. Nov. 20. Teens aged 10 to 18 are encouraged to showcase their bold and creative side; showcase your talents using poetry, comedy, rap, musical instruments, dancing or singing. Acts will be limited to five minutes, and any obscene content is prohibited. Registration is also required to attend.

Travis Credit Union Launchpad
Travis Credit Union of Vacaville, One Travis Way, will host its 2nd Annual community launchpad from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 20. Silveyville Christmas Tree Farm
Silveyville Christmas Tree Farm, 6248 Silveyville Road, is opening early this year; patrons can now grab a tree for the family the Saturday before Thanksgiving, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Nov. 23. California Water Services is offering online QWEL (Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper) certification in both English and Spanish. This free 20-hour training course is available to landscape maintenance professionals and C-27 contractors servicing Cal Water services areas. Senior Club Holiday Luncheon
The Senior Club of Dixon, 201 S. Fifth St., will host their annual holiday luncheon at 11 a.m. Dec. 6, and tickets are on sale now. Join the Senior Club in a festive holiday tradition over a catered lunch, served at 11:30 a.m., and an afternoon of cheer and community. Tickets are available at $20 for club members and $25 for non-members. Afternoon entertainment will also be present, so you will not want to miss out; tickets are available until Nov. 27.

Pancakes with Santa
The Rotary Club of Dixon will host a Christmas breakfast meet-n-greet with Saint Nicholas himself. From 8 to 10:30 a.m. Dec. 7, bring the family to Dixon High School’s Multipurpose Room, 555 College Way, for an enchanting morning of holiday cheer and plenty of pancakes. Tickets are available for $5 at the door, but please leave the pets at home.
