Thompson Announces New Staff Serving Solano County

SOLANO COUNTY, CA (MPG) - On Nov. 20, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) announced that Will Duncan has joined his team to serve as a field representative covering Solano County, including Dixon, Vacaville and Rio Vista.

“I’m excited to have Will join our team to serve the people of Solano County,” said Thompson. “Will’s passion for public service, local history, and familiarity with our community will be invaluable to our team and I know he will provide excellent service to our district as Team Thompson’s ‘eyes and ears’ of Solano County.”

Will Duncan grew up in Vacaville and attended Laurel Creek Elementary School, Foxboro Elementary School and Golden West Middle School before graduating from Vanden High School. Will attended Solano Community College before graduating from Sacramento State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. Will interned with Assembly Member Jim Frazier and worked at Lucky as the Service Deli Department Manager. Will is a Navy veteran and his parents and sister still live in Vacaville. He will serve California’s Fourth District as a Field Representative for Solano County.

Rep. Thompson and his staff support Fourth District residents in communicating with federal agencies and accessing federal resources and benefits. Constituents are encouraged to contact Rep. Thompson’s team with questions regarding Social Security and Medicare benefits, immigration matters, federal worker injury compensation, tax issues and IRS services, small business concerns, federal grant applications, student loans, military academy applications, military awards and commendations, veterans’ benefits, or any other issue facing themselves or their community.

Congressman Mike Thompson is proud to represent California’s 4th Congressional District, which includes all or part of Lake, Napa, Solano, Sonoma and Yolo Counties. He is a senior member of the House Committee on Ways and Means. Rep. Thompson is Chairman of the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force. He is also Co-Chair of the bipartisan, bicameral Congressional Wine Caucus and a member of the fiscally-responsible Blue Dog Coalition.
