DIXON, CA (MPG) - US Cryotherapy is a family-owned business founded by the Kramer family in 2011. The company is a pioneer in the cryotherapy industry, having built the first-of-its-kind whole-body wellness and recovery center in the United States.

Linzie Kramer was a visionary entrepreneur passionate about helping people heal and improve their lives. His discovery of cryotherapy in Prague inspired him to partner with his sons, bringing this innovative treatment to the United States.

Megan and Stacey Kramer (married to brothers Kevin and Rob Kramer) manage the Davis US Cryotherapy location which has been in operation since 2014, located at 2191 Cowell Blvd., C. The duo took time to discuss the health benefits cryotherapy can offer to Soroptimist International of Dixon members on Jan. 23. They, like their father-in-law, are passionate about helping people heal naturally.

“We invited them to speak because we had members go to US Cryotherapy that have seen health benefits,” said Amy Pretti, SI Dixon vice-president. “They brought out several machines that help with joint pain and inflammation, and let members try them to see the immediate effects.”

Cryotherapy is a safe and effective treatment that can help people heal from various conditions, including chronic and acute pain and inflammation, and can improve sleep, mood and skin. Cryotherapy works by exposing the body to extremely cold temperatures for a short period, which triggers the body's natural healing responses.

US Cryotherapy offers a variety of treatments, including Whole-Body Cryotherapy, Localized Cryotherapy, Red Light Therapy, and Infrared Sauna. The Davis location also provides a range of other wellness services, such as massage therapy, body contouring and facials.
