David Studebaker will be the headliner and emcee at the Dixon Family Services’ Comedy Night 2025

DIXON, CA (MPG) - David Studebaker will be the headliner and emcee at the Dixon Family Services’ Comedy Night 2025 from 6 to 10 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Olde Vet’s Hall, 231 N. First St.

“Thanks to David, even the raffle, which can be a dull segment of any fundraiser, was totally fun and entertaining,” according to 2024 Comedy Night attendees.

Studebaker’s duty as emcee allowed him to speak with attendees at their tables, make observations and comment in ways that had them laughing at each other and themselves. 

When Comedy Night 2025 organizers first met, they agreed to try to get Studebaker back.

Studebaker, named “One of the 10 Best Comics to Watch” by San Francisco Weekly, has delighted audiences for more than a decade with his brand of fun, fresh and uplifting comedy. Studebaker blends music, personal stories and pop culture into his highly interactive shows. 

His comedy can be heard in regular rotation on Sirius XM Radio and he has been featured on Fox, ABC, the San Francisco Chronicle and a variety of radio shows and publications.  Beyond stand-up, Studebaker was the host of “Pivot on The Street” for Pivot TV’s National Network and has emceed multiple awards shows and galas. “David's Ark” has amassed millions of views on TikTok.

Guests can also be sponsors; sponsors paying $500, $1,000, $2,000 or more get reserved seating. Sponsor names and logos will be highlighted on social media, on signs and fliers, in the event program and through announcements at the event.  Support can inspire new friends/partners to join TEAM DFS, thus expanding the levels of Dixon Family Services’ services provided to residents struggling to meet their basic needs in Dixon.

Attendees can donate a check, raffle prize or dessert to help raise money for Dixon Family Service’s free services to the community.

Volunteers are also being accepted to join the committee and help sell tickets, plus multiple other tasks to ensure the event’s success.
