Red Dog Ash at Ruhstaller
Ruhstaller Farm is hosting a performance by Red Dog Ash at 7 p.m. May 31. Red Dog Ash is an award-winning bluegrass band from the California Central Valley. The performance, held at 6686 Sievers Road, is free, but donations on behalf of the band are accepted.

Maine Prairie High School Graduation
Maine Prairie High School is hosting its graduation ceremony at 6 p.m. June 4. Held at the Dixon Community Performing Arts Center, 555 College Way, the event is free and open to all. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to ensure parking.

Every Baking Moment Course
Every Baking Moment is offering a four-week $75 course on icings and fillings from 6 to 8 p.m. June 4, 11, 18 and 25. Hosted at 143 N. First St., each two-hour session will educate attendees on how to torte, fill and ice a cake as well as basic icing and decorating techniques. No baking will be done in class, but step-by-step home baking instructions will be provided.

The Dixon Chamber of Commerce is hosting a networking event from noon to 1:30 p.m. June 5. This free, in-person event, held at The Farmstead at Dixon, 350 Gateway Drive, allows local professionals to connect. Offering a diverse range of potential connections, attendees are encouraged to bring business cards.

Dixon High School Graduation
Dixon High School is hosting its graduation ceremony at 9 a.m. June 7. Held at the high school campus, 555 College Way, the event is free and open to all. Graduates should arrive at the large gym at 8 a.m., and guests should arrive early too to guarantee a parking spot. The RAMs Vault will be selling water bottles for $2, Gatorade for $3 and fans for $1. All seniors must attend graduation practice at 9 a.m. June 6.

Dixon Moose Lodge Breakfast
Dixon Moose Lodge is hosting breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. June 8 for $12 per person. Held at the lodge, 180 W. B St., attendees have their choice of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and more.

Atkinson Shred Event
Atkinson Self Storage is hosting its annual shred event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 14. Located at 1800 N. First St. (Highway 113), participants can pay $10 to have a banker-sized box of documents shredded. Cash and card payments are accepted.

Father’s Train Free in June
Ramtown Karate is offering a special deal throughout the month of June. In honor of Father’s Day June 15, Ramtown, 1680 N. Lincoln St., # A, is offering fathers free training. Only new members are eligible.

VFW Upcoming Meeting
The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8151 will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. June 18. Meetings are held every third Wednesday at The Olde Vets Hall, 231 N. First St. Official business meetings start at 7 p.m., but the hall opens for set-up and socializing at 6 p.m. Socializing will continue after the business portion of the meeting.

Dixon Action Team is hosting Grillin’ & Chillin’ from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. June 28. Held in Downtown Dixon, the family-friendly event offers a car and truck show, local vendors, food trucks, live music and a rib cook-off.
