SOLANO COUNTY, CA (MPG) - Meals on Wheels Solano County is proud to announce its first-ever Give & Gather Gala, an evening of celebration and purpose benefiting local seniors, to be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, at Bella Verdi at Rancho Solano in Fairfield.

Presented by Valley Strong Credit Union, the Give & Gather Gala will bring together community members, leaders and partners in support of Meals on Wheels Solano County’s mission to nourish homebound seniors through food, connection and care.

Event proceeds will directly support Meals on Wheels Solano County’s Home-Delivered Meals Program, which provides nutritious meals, wellness checks and essential social connections to more than 1,000 homebound older adults across Solano County.

“With the growing uncertainty of government support, the Give & Gather Gala will be critical in helping meet shortfalls in funding and continue serving the most vulnerable in our community,” said Executive Director Laurie Hartmann.

The evening will include a three-course farm-to-table dinner highlighting fresh, locally sourced ingredients, a lively cocktail hour, live and silent auctions and Fund-a-Need appeal, a full program of inspiring stories and speakers, music, community celebration and an opportunity to directly impact seniors in need

“This is more than just a fundraising event, it’s a moment to bring our community together for the first time in years and rally around the seniors who rely on us every day,” said Development Manager Tyler Dorman.

Individual tickets and full tables are now available. Sponsorship opportunities are also open to businesses, civic organizations and individuals who want to support the cause while gaining visibility in front of a community-minded audience.

Tickets are available at mealsonwheelssolano.org/giveandgathergala.
