DIXON, CA (MPG) - It's almost Grillin' & Chillin' time, as Dixon's Action Team has been working hard to put on this yearly event.
From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on June 28, downtown Dixon will have many food & craft vendors. Hot rods will be lined up in the streets, showing off their pride and joy.
The opening ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. June 28 at the Pardi Plaza Main Stage. Marcelle Keirsey-Madonado, a Dixon High School graduate from the graduating Class of 1975, will sing the National Anthem.

The Car & Truck Show Awards will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Women's Park (Library Area), located at 231 N. First St.
A VIP Tasting will take place at the Moose Lodge, located at 180 W. B St., at 2:30 p.m. For $30, attendees can participate in the rib tasting and vote, have exclusive access to the Moose Lodge Bar all day and will be automatically entered into an exclusive VIP raffle. Participants must be 21 or older.
The Rib Cook-Off Awards will be at 4 p.m. at Women's Park (Library Area). Come out and support the winners.
Four bands are playing this year at Pardi Plaza throughout the day and into the evening. Dixon’s Action Team is also still looking for community members to volunteer for the dunk tank. Proceeds are donated back into the community of Dixon and Solano County.
