Any nonprofit organization interested in participating in the Giving Event is required to submit a short registration form that will be reviewed by the Solano Community Foundation team for approval.
Nonprofit organizations serving in Solano County are eligible to participate. Nonprofit organizations must meet annual IRS 501(c)(3) requirements to be part of the campaign.
By participating, you can support your immediate operating needs. You'll receive online donations directly into your organization's bank account from the Mightycause Foundation.
You
can save time and money because the Solano Community Foundation team has laid
the building blocks for you. All your organization needs to do is sign up, set
up your organization profile and communicate about your participation.
Live
Solano Give Solano as an ongoing event will prompt donors to give every
October, with hopes that many will either return to donate and/or donate to an
organization for the first time.
All
participating nonprofit organizations will encourage their donors to visit
their Live Solano Give Solano page, driving new donor traffic to the site. This
is a great opportunity to showcase your organization to a new audience and the
organization’s staff and board will have access to free informational materials
leading up to the event.
Setting
up a match, becoming a peer-to-peer fundraiser or collaborating with another
participating organization to host a special event are just a few ways to get
your supporters involved.
