DIXON, CA (MPG) – The Dixon Teen Center Board of Directors is recruiting for a recreation coordinator (part-time) to operate and supervise recreational and social activities for the Dixon teen community of seventh- to 12th-graders.

The Teen Center is a free drop-in program that provides personal, social and recreational programs for teens in a safe and welcoming environment. The program will operate from 4 to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

The coordinator will supervise and lead activities in sports, crafts, music, table games, computer room, homework space, special events and provide a positive environment for teens to develop and create new friendships.

Other responsibilities include coordinating volunteers, working with the Youth Center Council, opening and securing Teen Center Facility, supplies and equipment, leading and communicating center rules, regulations and safety procedures, providing written and verbal feedback to the Board of Directors, and complying with city and school district rules and regulations in the use of such facilities.
