SUISUN CITY, CA (MPG) - It’s time to spread wildflower seeds along the Solano County train tracks to ignite another spectacular spring wildflower season! The public can take part in this effort by attending a Wildflower Seed Ball Workshop Jan. 17, then riding the train to spread the wildflower seeds along the tracks.  

The Western Railway Museum is hosting two Wildflower Seed Ball Workshop sessions from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 12:30 to 3 p.m. Jan. 17. Following each workshop is the train ride to spread the seeds. Also featured during the day is the Fairfield-Suisun City Visual Arts Association with floral-inspired art displays and Sustainable Solano with an educational presentation.
