DIXON, CA (MPG) - Dixon Women’s Improvement Club will host a presentation at 1 p.m. Feb. 18, featuring Caitlin Hellar, who will speak about the work of Keep Dixon Green. The meeting will take place in the social hall of Dixon Methodist Church, 209 N. Jefferson St.

Keep Dixon Green is a grassroots organization committed to preserving Dixon’s open space and its unique agricultural heritage. The group works to empower local voices, encourage informed community advocacy and raise awareness about the impacts of unsustainable growth on farmland, the environment and overall quality of life.

Community members are invited to attend and learn more about the organization’s mission and ongoing efforts to protect Dixon’s rural character.
