Dixon Little League to Host Family Day Fundraiser April 18

DIXON, CA (MPG) - Dixon Little League will host its annual Family Day Fundraiser on April 18 at the Dixon Little League Fields, 298 E. Chestnut St., offering a full day of baseball, food and family activities to support local youth sports.

The event officially begins at 9 a.m. and will feature games across multiple divisions, along with raffles, a cakewalk and other activities designed for all ages. The fundraiser acts as the league’s largest of the year, with proceeds benefiting players, field maintenance and program operations.

A professional photographer will be on site offering family photos for $25. Attendees can also participate in raffles that include prizes such as two standard flight packages from Yolo Ballooning Adventures, valued at $598.

Food will be available throughout the day from vendors, but Dixon Firefighters Charitable Fund will sell taco meals at 11 a.m. while supplies last. The meal includes three tacos, chips and a drink for $15.

Games are scheduled throughout the day on four fields. Field 3 will host AA competition, beginning with the Mets facing the Orioles from 9 to 11:15 a.m., followed by the Yankees vs. Red Sox from noon to 2:15 p.m., and the Royals vs. Tigers from 3 to 5:15 p.m.

On Field 2, AAA teams will compete, including the Dodgers vs. A’s at 9 a.m., the Blue Jays against a Rio Vista team at noon, and the Marlins facing another Rio Vista team at 3 p.m. The Giants will take on the Padres in the final game from 6 to 8:45 p.m.

Field 1 will feature Single A matchups starting at 8:30 a.m., while Field 4 will host Tee Ball games beginning at 8:30 a.m. and concluding at 2:30 p.m.
