DIXON, CA (MPG) – Tickets for the popular Dixon May Fair grandstand shows, fair admission and carnival wristbands are now available for purchase for the upcoming fair, May 7 to 10. The fair has several opportunities to save money and time when you buy your fair and grandstand event tickets early using their online ticket system.
The convenience of online ticketing is available for grandstand events, carnival ride wristbands and admission. Online processing fees of $1 per ticket apply.
Tickets for the Flying U Bull Riding event May 8, Maxx Kakl Truck & Tractor Pulls May 9 and the Moondog Motorsports Demolition Derby May 10 in the First Northern Bank Grandstand can be purchased for $40 for all ages. Grandstand tickets purchased in advance include fair admission. Tickets purchased on the day of the event do not include fair admission. Advance purchase is recommended because all grandstand events have sold out in recent years.

Butler Amusements is offering wristbands, which allow the rider unlimited rides on any one day, for $35 in advance through May 6. The wristbands are good for any one day of the fair. During the fair, wristbands will be $40.
There are additional discounts on fair admission as well. Advance purchase adult tickets online are just $11 and will be $15 at the gate. KUIC Radio sponsors Thrifty Thursday, May 7, when all admissions are just $5. And on Kids Day, Friday, May 8, all kids 12 and under are admitted for free.
The Dixon May Fair, May 7 to 10, is located at 655 S. First St. The website for ticket purchases is www.DixonMayFair.com. The box office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning April 20.
