Star Wars-Inspired Cookie Class
Every Baking Moment is hosting a Star Wars-inspired cookie decorating class from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 2. Held at the shop, 143 N. First St., the class will involve decorating seven cookies and will educate patrons on icing, piping and flooding techniques, as well as texture and detail. Participation costs $50 per person.

Dixon Chamber Connections Networking
The Dixon Chamber of Commerce is hosting a networking event from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 21. This free in-person event, held at Joystick Gaming Lounge, 420 Gateway Drive, Suite C, allows local professionals to connect. Ribbon Cutting at Dwelley Family Wines

Dixon High Sports
Dixon High School Coed Varsity Track Team will compete away at noon May 1. Hosted at Casa Roble High School, 9151 Oak Ave., Orangevale, the Rams will take on the Casa Roble Rams. The Boys Varsity Track Team will compete against the Bella Vista High School Broncos at 11:30 a.m. May 2 at Bella Vista High School, 8301 Madison Ave., Fair Oaks.

Dixon Community Theater Presents “Cinderella”
Dixon Community Theater newest production, Rodger and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella,” will have its final four showings from May 1 to May 3. Held at the Dixon Performing Arts Center, 555 College Way, the production will have 7 p.m. evening showtimes May 1 and 2. Matinees at 2 p.m. will be held May 2 and 3. Tickets are already on sale online, but can be purchased at the door.

Dixon Library is hosting after-school homework help courtesy of Dixon High School Key Club from 4 to 5 p.m. May 4. Held at the library, 230 N. First St., the free event offers homework support to students in kindergarten through 6th grade on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited.

Harvest at Dixon is hosting a causal talk series to interact with the community and allow them to ask questions throughout the month of May.
