DIXON, CA (MPG) - At 4:56 p.m. May 15, the Dixon Fire Department received a call reporting a structure fire on Porter Road north of Midway Road. Dixon fire crews arrived on scene and located a second-alarm fire that originated in an outbuilding and spread to an additional structure and nearby vegetation. The vegetation fire was approximately one acre in size. 

Dixon Fire received support from eight surrounding agencies. Dixon crews responded quickly to knock down the structure fire to prevent its spread to additional parts of the building. There are no injuries reported. 

By 7 p.m., the fire had been extinguished, and crews remained on scene to work on mop-up.
