VACAVILLE, CA (MPG) - The Vacaville Museum will present its second annual and wildly popular “Jeans and Jewels: A Country Dinner” from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 in the Vacaville Museum courtyard, 213 Buck Ave.
It will feature a buffet, music by Fox and Friends, a raffle and a silent auction. The event is the brainchild of Museum Guild founding member Jean Cox, who is chairing the event this year with fellow Guild member Annie Lopez.
“Jeans and Jewels is a boot-scooting good time,” said Cox.
Tickets, $65, are available at the Vacaville Museum and online at https://vacavillemuseum.org/events/. Last year’s event was a sellout. All proceeds are earmarked for Vacaville Museum events, programs and exhibits.
The Vacaville Museum, serving all of Solano County, explores history, connects community and cultivates a future inspired by arts and culture, according to executive director Clara Dawson.
The Vacaville Museum was incorporated in 1981, with its inaugural exhibit open to the public in May of 1983. The museum collects and preserves artifacts related directly to the history of Solano County and promotes an awareness and understanding of county history and culture by offering interpretive exhibits and associated programs.
