DIXON, CA (MPG) - The Dixon Chamber of Commerce recognized Chamber Manager Sara Echarte on Sept. 3 for completing her first year in the position.

Members of the chamber's board of directors and Chamber Ambassadors marked the anniversary by highlighting Echarte's work with local businesses, chamber members and community events during the past year.

Since taking on the role, Echarte has helped support existing chamber members, welcome new businesses, coordinate events and build relationships throughout the Dixon business community.

Chamber leaders also credited Echarte with taking on new responsibilities and becoming a familiar presence at local events and activities.

The board of directors and Chamber Ambassadors thanked Echarte for her work during her first year and recognized her contributions to the organization and the broader Dixon community.

Echarte will now begin her second year as manager of the Dixon Chamber of Commerce.
