VACAVILLE, CA (MPG) - The City of Vacaville Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the inaugural fundraiser, Adaptive Recreation Community Day, supporting inclusive recreation opportunities for the Vacaville community. This new family-friendly event takes place Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Play4All Park, 815 Elmira Road.

Adaptive Recreation Community Day will feature pay-to-play carnival-style games, inflatable activities, raffle baskets and more. This inclusive community celebration brings families and community members together while raising funds to support the City’s Adaptive Recreation programs which helps provide year-round recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

The event is made possible with support from community sponsors: Lewis Management and Chick-fil-A Vacaville Commons. Be sure to have your camera ready for a photo opportunity, as Chick-fil-A will join the celebration with a special appearance by one of their Holstein cow mascots.

Admission is free. Tickets for raffles, inflatable games, and select activities will be available for purchase. All proceeds will support the City’s Adaptive Recreation program. Learn more on the Adaptive Recreation webpage
