Community Invited to Take Part in the Festivities at Merriment on Main Tree Lighting Event

VACAVILLE, CA (MPG) - The City of Vacaville invites the community to take part in the holiday magic at the 2026 Merriment on Main Tree Lighting held in Downtown Vacaville Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Anyone interested in showcasing their talents or offerings at this year’s celebration are invited to submit an application. Vendors and booth operators can apply at: https://cityofvacaville.formstack.com/forms/2026momvendor.

The online application is user-friendly and allows applicants to save their progress and complete it at their convenience, while ensuring they meet all city requirements for participation.
Starting last year, businesses wishing to sell food or merchandise are welcome to submit a vendor application and pay a fee to be part of the Merry Market hosted at the CreekWalk Plaza. The city will continue to offer the opportunity to provide free food and giveaways in the downtown corridor, as has been the tradition of Merriment on Main. Attention Downtown Business Operators: This year, the Downtown Vacaville Business Improvement District will be making a list of those who wish to be open during this event so that event booths do not block entrances, and businesses are added to the vendor map.
Deadline: Application submissions will be accepted through Oct. 25.
Applicants are encouraged to review the options and requirements for booth operators, vendors, performers and entertainers to find the best fit for participation. Once an application has been submitted, an email confirmation with a copy of the application and important links will be delivered to the email provided. Additional tasks based on the selected role will be communicated via email.
