Take Fire Prevention Steps

The annual Fire Prevention Week is the longest-running health observance in the U.S., with the Dixon Fire Prevention Week joining in. Mayor Steve Bird officially proclaimed Oct. 6 through Oct. 12 as a week of fire safety with the rest of the nation.
