Race for Research is an annual Gala featuring Dixon Speedway Micro Sprint race car drivers from ages 6 and up in their fire suits serving a formal dinner as the evening celebrity waiters. The 2023 event raised a remarkable $100,000.00 in one night through ticket sales, auction items and various other ways to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This event is truly a kids helping kids event. The growth after last years popularity has this years event May 10th 2024 selling out at 300+.

The following night May 11th 2024, The kids race at Dixon Speedway, and will present a check to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital of the previous nights total raised.

The foundation of Race for Research is to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We serve the kids and researchers at St Jude. Providing donations to fund cancer treatments to current patients and research that will continue to find more robust and less invasive ways to treat pediatric cancer patients.

We are a “kids helping kids” event. The second service we provide in sync, is teaching our young racers the importance of helping other kids who lead a very different life. Our young racers form an emotional attachment to St. Jude kids and work to become the future generation of philanthropic giving and awareness.
