The one-night-only benefit cabaret will bring together an all-star lineup of local performers for an evening celebrating the songs and characters that have captivated Broadway audiences for generations. Featured performers include Alex Chaseford, Angi Wolf, Anna Butcher, Caroline Steffins, Chris Cay Stewart, Nathan Lacy, Rachel Davidson, Rodney Chaney Jr., and more. Audiences can expect an entertaining mix of Broadway favorites—from songs made famous by beloved protagonists and notorious villains to unforgettable showstoppers and musical theater classics everyone knows and loves. “This show is a celebration of Broadway and the incredible talent we have right here in our community,” said Dixon Community Theater Vice President Kelly Pidgeon James. “We have an exceptional group of performers coming together for one night, and every ticket purchased also helps us continue creating opportunities for people of all ages to experience and participate in the performing arts.” Proceeds from the cabaret will benefit Dixon Community Theater, a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to the performing arts through community productions, youth theater, educational programming and other performing arts opportunities. The Good, The Bad, & The Broadway will be performed at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Dixon Community Performing Arts Center, 555 College Way in Dixon. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $18 for general admission and $15 for seniors and children ages 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased online in advance or at the door. Concessions will be available for purchase.
